Diving this cenote
This cenote is a one tank dive and is best combined with a dive in Cenote Dos Ojos or El Pit, both also part of the Sac Actun system.
As with most cenote tours we will meet around 8am at the dive shop to sort out scuba gear and paperwork, before heading off for our dives. Lunch is also included.
We suggest you bring a towel and a dry set of clothes. Keep in mind as in all cenotes sunscreen cosmetics and insect repellent are banned due to the conservation of the site.

Our guide Liz was THE BEST! She is just amazing. Great personality, SUPER knowledgeable, and extremely … More experienced diver! Andres was great too - such an amazing soul! Great conversations and amazing dives - extremely well spent days on our trip. Great communication, easy going, and transitioned our dive plan for the last day with ease due to undesirable weather for Cozumel dives. We did 2 ocean dives in Playa Del Carmen and 5 cenote dives over 3 days (The Pit, Chac Mool x2, Angelita, Car Wash). I don’t even know which was my favorite because they were all amazing and unique in their own right. Liz even held onto our dive gear for us overnight (including rinsing/drying). Not having to lug it back and forth to the resort and worry about how to rinse and dry it ourselves was huge! We will DEFINITELY be diving with Jaguar again next time we’re in town!!!

Loved diving with Jaguar Divers. We are a family of 7 with different levels of experience staying in … More Playa del Carmen for a wedding and wanted to dive in Cozumel. Liz at Jaguar divers handled everything… transportation to and from our hotel and all the equipment. High speed boat to Cozumel was a little rough, but once there the conditions were amazing!! The Santa Rosa wall dive was especially awesome! The coral very alive and vibrant. Thanks for a wonderful day!!

Liz is the BEST dive master we ever had the pleasure of diving with. She certified our 13 year old … More daughter in her open water and we are very impressed with how she was able to keep our daughters focus on not only safety and proper procedure, but also on fun and instilling a love of the sport. She also did a refresher for my husband and I as we had not been diving in years. We loved each of our open water doves and after our daughter did her 4 open water to be certified we did another dive and saw sharks and turtles! Liz knows the reef like the back of her hand and she will make sure you see everything that there is to be seen. Thr equipment is very good quality and she makes sure that you are comfortable with the equipment before you head down to the boats. A safety briefing before each dive kept us aware of what we were supposed to be paying attention to under water (currents, the reef) etc. Prices are fare to the other dive shops in the area. Small group sizes make the dive fun and personal. She rents good boats/crew to get us out to the dive location and provides transportation from the dive shop down to the boats. The dive shop has a pool to practice that is small but good enough for what it’s used for.

We did an afternoon 2 tank dive in Playa del Carmen. The dive sites for our shallow (35'-45') … More reef dives were only 10 minutes from shore by boat and full of aquatic life! Our dive master, Jadel Oliver, was fantastic! He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable and kept us fully informed on what to expect. If you're looking for a guide in Playa del Carmen or Cozumel, look no further! I highly recommend Jaguar!
