The Rescue Diver course is ideal for certified divers who want to enhance their dive safety knowledge and skill set. This course is perfect for:
>> Certified Advanced Open Water Divers looking to expand their diving skills.
>>Divers interested in learning emergency response techniques.
>>Divers aiming to increase their confidence and preparedness in managing dive related emergencies.
>> Divers wishing to become better dive buddies
To enrol in this course, you must be at least 20 dives and have a valid CPR and First Aid certification (completed within the last 24 months).

Course Plan – 3 Days
Preparation Phase: Knowledge Development
The course begins with self-paced online learning modules covering dive theory, emergency procedures, and accident prevention. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of dive rescue techniques and essential skills through interactive presentations and quizzes.
Training Phase: Confined Water Sessions
In the confined water sessions, you’ll practice and refine rescue skills under the guidance of our experienced instructors. You’ll learn to manage different rescue scenarios, such as assisting panicked divers, providing oxygen and handling unresponsive divers at the surface and underwater.
Scenario Practice: Open Water Scenarios
During the open water scenarios, you’ll apply what you’ve learned in realistic rescue simulations. You’ll work through various emergency scenarios, including missing diver searches, providing emergency assistance and managing diver injuries. These scenarios will enhance your ability to respond effectively in challenging situations.
Final Evaluation: Skill Assessment
The course ends with a comprehensive evaluation where you’ll demonstrate your mastery of rescue skills. This assessment ensures that you’re prepared to manage diving emergencies confidently and competently.
How much is it?
The price is $450USD and includes everything except food and transportation to the dive centre.
To book your course we take a $200 deposit to cover the study materials and hold your dates. This comes out of your course price.
You are required to have at least 20 dives, be a minimum of 12 years old and complete a basic medical.
Emergency First Responder – 1 Day
If you haven’t a current CPR and First Aid certificate you can take the EFR course with us prior to your Rescue Course.
How much is it?
The price is $150 and includes everything except transportation to the dive centre.
To book your course we take a $80 deposit to cover the study materials and hold your dates. This comes out of your course price.
