Diving in Cozumel with Jaguar Divers
What Your Playa del Carmen Dive Day Looks Like
Times below are for a morning trip. Afternoon trips meet at 12:30 PM
- 7:30 AM
Meet at Jaguar Divers
You meet your guide at our shop in Playa del Carmen, confirm your certification, prepare your gear and get fitted if you are renting equipment.
- 8:00 AM
Briefing and short walk to the boat
Full dive briefing: sites, depth, route, signals and safety procedures.
- 8:30 AM
Crossing to Cozumel
The crossing to Cozumel is 45 minutes. We go directly to the dive sites, no ferries involved.
- 9:30 AM
2 Reef dives in Cozumel with Lunch
Sites are chosen on the day according to conditions. We will do one wall dive and one inner reef dive. Lunch and drinks are onboard.
- 12:30 PM
Back to Playa
A 45 minute crossing back. Time to relax and release some nitrogen.
- 2:00 PM
Shark Dive!
Around 30 minutes at Shark Point (a marine park precaution to protect the sharks). Then we drift with the current, watching the sharks swimming further afield.
- 3:30 AM
Playa reef dive
A relaxed last dive on Playa's shallow reefs. Taking in the Caribbean marine life.
- 4:30 PM
Back on shore
Back with time for lunch, the beach, cenotes, family plans or a relaxed afternoon in town.
