What Your Course Looks Like

The course is normally run over three days

  1. Prior to the course

    Self Study

4/5 hours of theory to complete at home before we start.

  2. Day 1 - 7.30 am

    Pool Skills and Theory

Recap the theory and go over any questions you have. Followed by pool practice of rescue skills under the guidance of our experienced instructors.

  3. Day 2 - 7.30 am

    Casa Cenote

Carry on learning your new skills and re-practicing yesterdays in deeper waters. You’ll learn skills such as assisting panicked divers, providing oxygen and handling unresponsive divers at the surface and underwater.

  4. Day 3 - 7.30 am

    Cenote or Ocean

Apply what you’ve learned in realistic rescue simulations. You’ll work through various emergency scenarios, including missing diver searches, providing emergency assistance and managing diver injuries.

  5. After the course

    Certification

We process your certification and you are ready to act when problems occur.

Emergency First Responder

If you haven’t a current CPR and First Aid certificate you can take the EFR course with us prior to your Rescue Course.

PADI OR SDI

We are an SDI shop, we chose them for their flexibility in how we can teach. This means we can tailor each course to your needs and find the best way to help you with any difficulties you find in your studies.

Both PADI and SDI are worldwide agencies with big names.
Agencies don't train divers; they create training materials and certification requirements. The instructor makes the difference.

Our Instructors are very experienced and are all technical divers. We chose to work under the agency of SDI as it best supports us in passing on our knowledge to you.
We also have PADI instructors available.

Study materials

  • PADI Certification — manual included
  • SDI Certification — full eLearning included
