We had 4 wonderful days of diving with Liz and so many memorable firsts - like diving the cenotes and doing a bull shark dive.
Liz was wonderful from start to finish. She’s very organized, responsive, and detailed when we first emailed… More her to inquire about our trip. Unlike some other operators, her responses and recommendations felt very genuine.
Throughout our dives, Liz was super patient, answering my incessant questions, encouraging and teaching me little things along the way. With her, I always felt safe and taken care of but also empowered to trust myself and be confident in my abilities as a diver.
I especially appreciate that she’s very attentive and observant - always ready to intervene, support, or help if necessary - but never micromanaging because she either wants you to have the skills to do it yourself or she knows you can. If I had to do my dive certification again, I’d want to do it with her.
Jaguar Divers is a boutique shop that’s run really well. You dive in small groups with highly qualified guides (instructors, tech divers, cave divers), always safe, and never rushed.
I’d highly recommend diving with them. I know I would again in a heartbeat.
